The good stuff

The not-so-good

It’s not exactly a full-blown editor. You can’t cut or trim clips here - it’s strictly for prep work. So if you’re expecting to do any actual editing, you’ll still need Final Cut Pro or Premiere. Also, it only works with RED cameras. If you’re using anything else, skip this. And yeah, it’s a bit of a beast to install - the app itself is small, but it pulls in a ton of dependencies. I had to clear out 4 gigs just to get it running smoothly. Plus, no real user support. If something breaks, you’re on your own.
