The good stuff

It just… works. Install it, restart your Finder if needed, and boom - hit spacebar on any gltf file, and there it is. A clean 3D preview in the Quick Look window. I was shocked at how fast it loaded, especially compared to opening a full 3D editor. It even shows textures and basic lighting, which is way more than I expected from a free plugin. I was testing a character rig yesterday, and being able to spin it around without leaving Finder saved me about five minutes. And it doesn’t eat up memory or slow down my machine. The not-so-good

Yeah, it’s limited. If you need to inspect materials, animations, or scene hierarchy, this isn’t the tool. It’s strictly a visual preview. Also, no support for .glb files - only .gltf. That might trip people up if they’re used to working with binary formats. And the developer’s unknown, which makes me wonder about updates or long-term support. But honestly, since it’s free and does its one job well, I’m okay with that. Just don’t expect anything fancy.
