The good stuff

I tried out the "triangular" one early on and realized it made dodging easier while still letting me shoot in three directions. Feels like strategy without overcomplicating things. The audio design is solid too-every explosion has weight, and the synth-heavy soundtrack fits the vibe perfectly. It’s like if Blaster Master had a chill cousin who played at a rave in space.

The not-so-good

It’s not perfect. The story’s kind of thin-just “find your dad” with no real emotional beats. You’ll probably forget the plot by the time you beat stage 4. Also, the difficulty spikes are brutal. I died a lot in the mid-game, not because it’s unfair, but because it expects you to memorize enemy patterns instantly. No save points between stages either, which is rough when you’re grinding for a high score. And yeah, it’s only available on PS5, so if you’re on Xbox Series X|S, you’re out of luck. The developer being unknown also leaves me wondering if this is a one-off or if there’ll ever be a proper sequel.
