The good stuff

It’s stupidly easy. I dropped a .png of my favorite cartoon character onto a folder, clicked “Apply”, and it worked immediately. The interface is barebones, but that’s the point - it doesn’t get in the way. I’ve used other icon tools that require you to export files manually or tweak hidden system files. The not-so-good

It hasn’t been updated since 2009, so if you’re running macOS Sonoma, there might be some quirks. If you want to change your whole dock, this isn’t it. And sure, the developer is unknown - but given how stable it’s been over the years, I’m okay with that. Just don’t expect modern polish.
