The good stuff

One thing that actually saved me last month was the click-to-call feature. The not-so-good

It’s free, so I know I shouldn’t complain too much, but there are limits. You only get two lines - meaning only two people can be on calls at once unless you upgrade. If you’re running a full-blown support team, this won’t cut it. Also, the interface feels a little barebones compared to something like Zoom Phone. And yeah, the developer is unknown, which makes you pause a bit. But honestly, after all this time, nothing’s crashed or gone rogue. Still, if you’re paranoid about security, look elsewhere.

If you’re a solo operator, small team, or just want to manage calls from your Mac without downloading a million apps, Aircall for Mac - Download for Mac is worth trying. It’s free, it’s straightforward, and it handles the basics really well. Just don’t expect enterprise-level bells and whistles. If you’re already using Slack or CRM tools, it integrates nicely enough.
